Winter sailing round 2 – this Saturday June 7

 Briefing 1.00pm for 1.30pm start.

The forecast is for a clear day and nice SSW wind 12-15 knots. A perfect day to break out the wetty and get on the water.
 
Yardstick event, all classes welcome, visitors encouraged. $5 per day or $15 for the series. Multiple short races.
 
Sausage sandwiches and drinks available on the day.

Better Sailing: youth (Laser) & adult development squads

“Better Sailing” is designed to enhance enjoyment of competitive sailing by improving the racing skills across the range of experience, competence and classes. Monthly on-water coaching is supported by mid-week theory.  There are three levels - introductory, intermediate and advanced. The scheme also includes two Youth Squads sailing Lasers.

DAC Winter Racing Series imminent

Join us for winter sailing on Saturdays at Dobroyd. All classes/sailors welcome.
May 3, June 7, July 5, August 2
Briefing: 1:00pm
First Start: 1.30pm
 
Three divisions:
Small Open: Sabot, Optimist, Flying 11, Heron and Access and any boat with a Yardstick over 127.
Large Open: All monohulls, except those in the Classic Division, with a Yardstick of 127 or less
Sailboard: All sailboard classes
 
Scoring within each division is based on yardstick. Up to three short races will be sailed each day.
Cost: $5 per day or $15 for the series (per boat)
